International Women’s Day

I have to admit I only started celebrating International Women’s Day a few years ago.

I had not defined my position about it. Why did we need a day to celebrate us?

Fortunately today, I understand the importance of dedicating one day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural & political achievements of women. And yes, there is an #InternationalMensDay to celebrate men and their contribution to society (Nov 19).

This year, I celebrate #IWD2019 even more because I deeply identify myself with the theme #BalanceforBetter. As the campaign says: “A balanced world is a better world.”

Today the question is:

How can I take more action for equality?
