I Know What You Did Last Summer…What About This Year?
Aloha!
How have you been?
Busy, relieved, stressed, in peace?
That would be my long mixed answer to that question.
The last months have been active and I am grateful for that. The second half of the year looks much different than the first one: We are vaccinated, we are reconnecting with our old selves, work is coming back, and hopefully we have learned our lessons while we continue to deal with variants, flexible restrictions, and a hybrid life.
I feel inspired and looking forward to better days ahead as I seize the present. I am not taking anything for granted as the pandemic taught us how fast everything can change.
It’s time to refuel, recharge, and adjust gears for the rest of 2021. It almost feels like a brand New Year to me. I have great plans and your name is written on all of them. After being in pause for so long, I feel the need to catch up with everybody and everything. I am reaching out to family, friends, and contacts, aiming to eat healthier, feeding my spirit through reading, applying for jobs (let me know if you see something that sounds like me), looking for ways to increase my means, decluttering my house…I am telling you!
We are not there yet, but I can see the light, and I am relieved to say that it is earlier than I expected. Humanity never fails to amaze me. We have lost and gained so much. And we have done it together.
Thank you for going through everything together.
You are a keeper.
Love you,
